Can images of the early releases be banned from this site until the official airings? This is the 5th or 6th time I’ve accidentally seen images of the episodes and it’s starting to piss me off now.
 
And before you say anything, yes I did filter but only after I say the image. I dunno why I should put in all this effort to unspoil myself when people can’t even wait until it actually releases on the official channel to watch it, let alone posting fucking screencaps of them here

Personally, I would like early release images to be banned until we finally get them in English. But I saw this coming a mile away and have spoiler filtered and hidden the images related to the finale. I might even have to unsubscribe from certain image threads if everyone is gonna be talking about the finale.

Meh. Sorry, but the world isn’t ’merica first. Early releases are legit and Hasbro decided it. You have to live with it. No offense.

I just wanted folks to be mindful of spoilers for the sake of those who haven’t seen it. Plus I don’t get why Hasbro approved of this. Early releases and showing up on different channels like this could effect the viewership ratings. Hell, that’s what caused Freakazoid to get canceled; they did a similar thing. Hopefully they put it on a time slot that a lot of people will catch it on.

It is not, that I can’t understand you. Funny fact, even me would be glad to habe only one release date. But the world is just about money and Hasbro sells the show to who ever is able to get it. It’s buisness. And commercials.

But like I said, this doesn’t really make much sense from even that perspective. How is flip-flopping channels gonna make them more money? Especially when it’s not their official channel.

I don’t know the American word, but we call it “Lizenzgebühren”. The channel which is sending it first pay much to Hasbro and can then take much more money for its own commercials.

Tried to be a Starlight hater for a couple of days and to be honest I tried everything in a lot of forums just to find out that even when you agree with them they still hated me for no reason.
 
Now question for any Starlight hater here.
 
What do you guys want? I said everything as possible to like and understand you guys and the only thing I could learned from you is that you can’t accept that you are hating a color horse from a kids show. (If is still a kids show anymore).

Why is it only bad when people hate Starlight? People have been hating Fluttershy, Applejack, Celestia, Spike, etc, since the beginning. I don’t give a god damn shit about Starlight. I don’t throw a fit when I see her, I just roll my eyes and move on.

It’s because they’re the most vocal and, dare I say, toxic. Of all the characters people seem to rage about her the most for any reason they can think of. And honestly, I don’t get it. Besides personal preference, I don’t see why anyone (especially fans of the show) would hate any character in the show, let alone throw a fit whenever they so much as show up.
 
Also, the haters seem to like to demean the fans. I think that has something to do with it

But one of the writers said that they never planned on making her a main character. That she primarily a supporting role and nothing more.
 
Even if that were a reason, that’s a pretty stupid reason to hate her…

Starlight was never meant to be the main character. Hell, according to the writers, Spike should be more important than her. So why isn’t he? Why is he placed at the back of the bus? Why is Starlight given as much focus as the main characters, despite being a supporting cast?
 
What makes her special?
 
I don’t hate Starlight, mind you. But I do hate how much of her there is. She’s not a main character and yet, she’s treated as one.
 
If I could, I’d make only 1-2 episodes per season which has her as one of the focus, and 2-3 episodes with her as a supporting cast. The other episodes can have her either in one scene, or just a background element.

That’s not supporting character status, that’s a minor character status. You sure you don’t hate her?

He doesn’t. Also, when someone says that they think that she appears too much and gets too much attention, that’s not being a hater or them hating on her.

It is if she doesn’t even show up that much. Hell, there are points where she should be there but isn’t for some reason.  
It really sounds like he at least has some form of dislike for Starlight if he wants less of her. If that wasn’t the case and he truly doesn’t hate/dislike her, then he wouldn’t be complaining. There’s balance in her and everyone else’s role, but for some reason people don’t see it.
 
And here’s what I don’t get. How is giving her 2 episodes and very minor roles a season properly developing her character? That doesn’t make anything better. If anything, it makes it worse.

I don’t want to sound harsh and condescending, but I think you’re being a bit too defensive there. This is a “pony venting thread” where people can vent about anything pony related, Starlight included. You have to let people dislike her and hate her because that’s their opinions. Like I said, it’s not really “hate” if someone says that she appears too much, and if he says that he doesn’t hate her, then he doesn’t hate her.

That’s more or less the same as Spike. And Spike is a higher tier than Starlight.

Sorry, but I don’t believe it. It doesn’t sound right. And why should I let people hate/dislike her? They don’t let me (or any other fan) like/love her. These people should consider themselves lucky I’m just being defensive and not being condescending and insulting their tastes like them.
