Season 8 Episode Discussion [Spoilers, possible leaks, rumours etc.]

He’s pretty good as a writer, but he’s an incredibly lousy story editor if his work on Season 6 was any indication. As for S7, he was only full editor for 4 episodes so he didn’t have much to screw up on
 
I will say, Shadow Play is still one of the stronger finales so I hope, really really hope that it’s a sign that he improved

Working as the story editor for Skylanders Academy in-between MLP seasons definitely seems to have helped him gain more experience for this sort of thing.

It’d be awesome if they brought in Idris Elba as a guest star. I would be amused at what character they make him into that has his Chief Bogo voice from Zootopia. XD

I want to see Starlight participating in a Kite Fighting tournament.

Honestly I really wanna see Gabby again. I’d love to see her having actual interactions with Gilda.

My thoughts exactly. I’ve always wondered what would have happened if Spike had been unable to save the mane six. Would they have really died, or been ejected from the comic or what? Either way, it definitely doesn’t seem like “enchanted comics” are very safe, so it’s surprising that they can be sold to kids.
