They’re good at establishing niche elements like names, unlisted voice actors and the like.
 
Other than that, yeah, Twitter is no place to “Patch” your work. Still better than making a “Behind the Scenes” to lampshade criticism you know is coming but don’t give a crap about, anyways.

I still do belive that if you “forget” to include some VA in previous episode, you should include them in the credits of the next one. It’s just waht seems fair to me.

From what I understand, the show’s writers and producers didn’t want to have to put the show on hiatus until George R.R. Martin eventually finishes the next book, so they decided to take matters into their own hands once they ran out of source material, and apparently wrecked literally everyone’s character to get to a conclusion they wanted.

Really rushed and poorly executed story beats is the short of it. The writers basically just flashed out the 6 epioides and GTFO
 
I did manage to call who would be King though ^^

Surprisingly, we don’t seem to have gotten a Dinky yet. In fact, outside Last Crusade foals have been a rare sight, only the first half of Season 1 had a more glaring lack of foals in Ponyville…

It was just an observation, given that she was either 5th or 6th filly (7th or 8th foal) to appear, and hasn’t appeared yet despite being in every other season until now. Her last appearance appears to have been The Washouts, appearing next to one of the spa twins when the Washouts fly in front of the audience. Apparently she’s in this screencap on the Wiki but I’m not seeing her, maybe Rainbow Dash is in the way. Either way, it’s odd that the show would just abandon her. Did we see any foal crowd scenes outside The Last Crusade? I don’t remember.

Thinking back at that moment, imagine what might’ve happened if Celestia got even more lost, saw that structure, and decided to try entering out of curiosity…

So wait the episode just ends with Tia and Luna going back to Canterlot and we don’t see them fixing the thing Twilight broke?

Here it is.

So the Rainbow Roadtrip Passport to Reading children’s book was just released and so it contains a very basic and minimal story much like the same that happened with The Best Gift Ever.
 
||So Rainbow gets invited to a Rainbow Festival, which all the Mane 6 travel to overnight in their balloon. Pinkie sees a rainbow in the distance but turns out it was just a rainbow sign that they crash into. Teleporting to the ground, they find the town they were suppose to go to only to find it has all its color drained from it. They try to ask the Mayor, Sun Skies, what happend but he deflects them before they finally get him to admit there used to be a whole bunch of color in town before the dark times, before the Empire… well the Empire of people not being as friendly to one another as they were anyways. Sunny had hoped Rainbow could give the town color again, to which the Mane 6 agree to help. So this leads to the Mane 6 helping out around town where restoring the magic of friendship gives color back to the town, saving the day. The End.
 
So given this is a very condense and simplified retelling for a children’s book, while the bare plot is there, my guess is that the townsfolk the Mane 6 interact with will have a greater role in the story and how they get them to reignite their color or whatever they do to bring back color to the town. ||

Yeah, I read that and ||It doesn’t even show how Twilight gets the Rainbow wings which we constantly see through promotion and ads, which means there’s a lot of crucial plot points being left out that we still have yet to see, especially with how this is longer than BGE. Or at least I hope. I remember the storybook for BGE kinda deflating my hype for it and it still turned out good, the book didn’t even mention Discord! ||

Rainbow Roadtrip was based on a screenplay by Kim Beyer-Johnson, the writer of Non-Compete Clause and Sweet and Smokey.

To play the devil’s advocate, Sweet And Smokey was a decent episode barring Garble’s unearned redemption, and the shorts she wrote were pretty good. And judging from the book, there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong characterization-wise. Only problem, though rather worrying, is how there isn’t really much to it
