The End

So I’m sure this is a question on most people’s mind, what will happen when the show stops? I mean, five seasons! Most don’t make it to two. Kinda feels like we’re on momentum that’s slowly fading. Eventually it will end and then what? What does it mean for the fandom? What does it mean for this site?

When the show ends, MLP will enter G5, and with some luck we will get another good show. Perhaps the fandom may latch on to the new show and continue, but sooner or later, it has to fade away. And then we just have to move on to other things.
 
As for derpi, it will probably just stop working, with all the images archived into a file people can download.

Maybe…hopefully the makers will realize a way to pump new life into the show.
 
As for Derpi…well I’ll miss it. A lot of memories, both good and bad. Hopefully the fandom will live on for at least a few months after.

Hopefully one more season after that Friendship Games movie.

Well, it could keep going on at full force like the Star Trek fandom has done for almost 50 years now!
 
Or people could just forget about it and move on to other schlock like Steven Universe or whatever.
 
In the end, the choice is up to you.

Who knows? If this goes the route of the Star Trek fandom, it could potentially continue into a new generation.

Yeah, hopefully Hasbro will try to milk the Equestria Girls verse for all it’s worth once MLP stops.

I think that the show is definitely rumored to get a legit theatrical movie. Depending on how good that is, it has the power to resuscitate or ruin the fandom.

Season 6 is already confirmed, they are doing the voice recording for it now.
 
Plus there is that other Equestria Girls Movie(?), Legends of the Everfree.

And apparently it’s called “Legends of the Everfree.” I won’t be fooled, though. If we’re going by EQG logic, the Everfree Forest in this world is probably just the gym locker room.

Probably. But looking back, I can see that the show has amassed a horde of characters now.

Even if the show doesn’t reach the level of Star Trek in terms of influence, at least there’ll be plenty of people who still remember it fondly, right?

I’m pretty sure the new Fantastic Four movie utterly bombed at the box office AND in reviews, so I doubt it’ll get a sequel.

They claim there’ll be a sequel in 2017, but unless they’ve already made it or something…

I just hope it’s a while before the community officially runs out of steam.
