The My Little Pony Movie

I keep seeing comparisons to the first SpongeBob movie.
 
I made one once, but it’s not to jab at the movie more than I have.

I kinda got a chuckle out of both, actually. Not so much with Spongebob, but plenty enough with MLP.

Apparently the movie will be available in my country in April 27th.
 
What I don’t know is if the movie will be in DVD, because the Bluray version is the only commented version. Do you have the movie in DVD?

The Blu-ray comes with the DVD, but there’s also a DVD-only version.

Unfortunately the bottoms of continuing the show after the biggest budget movie have already shown.  
animation and not being able to afford the celebrity voices so the movie characters only got mentioned

You mean that hypogriff wasn’t Skystar? Considering she acted, sounded, looked and was actually related to her, I honestly didn’t notice.

One thing that irritates me are those complaining that the characters from the movie like Tempest, Grubber, Songbird, Novo, Skystar, etc. should appear in the show when it’s clear that they aren’t.

Oh wait… ending of the film says that they have been automatically forgiven thanks to Celestia or something.

I’m referring to more the fact that they have to bring back the celebrity voice actors unless they bring those that can imitate their voices. Even if they were eager to come back, I wouldn’t have like it if they came back.

Well bringing them back may cost money or the voices of the characters from the film are working on other projects such as Avengers: Infinity War (for Celaeno’s VA), or A Quiet Place (For Tempest’s VA)
 
Also, if they bring other VAs to replace them the reactions would be mixed at first.

Last time I heard, there was only one celebrity voice actor for that film, and he died after the movie premiered.

Another reason to hate bringing in celebrity to just guest star: unlikely to get them back.
