I feel like the show doesn’t have as much morality/ethics in it as it used to. In season 1, it was every episode. Then, it went on a slow decline.

They stopped having to follow the “moral lesson in every episode” format in Season 2 when they dropped the E/I rating and its requirement of “educational” content.

Something that a lot of people miss– especially in high school– is that Popular =/= Cool, because the essence of Cool is having your own personal style and not giving a damn whether anybody else likes it or not. Following the Latest Trends™ and trying to be the same as everyone else? That’s not Cool, that’s Conformism, and conformists are never cool. You do You and nevermind the bollocks.

And just for the record, that’s meant as a joke (and one I’m borrowing from an abridged series to boot). Because I know how some people get over that episode.
