No, here’s the thing. I liked the episode up until Rarity fires all the Fluttershys. That’s when it loses me. I loved that gag but then they kinda just let Shy off the hook for it.
 
Starlight in Every Little Thing gave a better apology than Shy did to her animal friends.

At least Fluttershy admitted that she got carried away and apologized for it, but yeah I do somewhat agree with you that she got off the hook kinda easily. Still, it didn’t drag down the ep for me.

Yeah, I agree. “She was aware she was being a jerk, therefore it’s okay that she was being a jerk, even though she literally started turning away customers.”

And then at the very end she gets uber pissed at a customer for a compliment.

Fluttershy losing her shit at at the end was the best part, it’s the rest of the episode that’s no good.

I feel like this is really unpopular so I’m going to say it again. Didn’t like Applejack in Grannies Gone Wild.

Did we ever find out about how that one comic artist was able to get Daybreakers design before the episode even aired?  
He stole it from one of DHX’s subcontractor studios while the episode was in production and tried to pass it off as a “golly gee!” coincidence; he works in the Canadian animation industry and lived in the same city as the subcontractor, so either he worked there or knew someone who did and gave him access to the designs before the episode aired.

Yeah, that was… weird. It didn’t really seem to fit with the tone of the rest of the episode, it just came across as her being a jerk for no good reason.

It was the going thing for the first few days after the episode aired, but it’s become unpopular since then because most people realized that AJ wasn’t actually being the micromanaging harridan they had imagined her to be. The episode implied pretty hard that Big Mac wasn’t exactly crackin’ the whip on the Golden Horde when he was their chaperone, and her “you might even learn a thing or two about havin’ a good time from these old gals” line sure did leave the impression that she was in on the joke and didn’t really expect Dash to take her proscriptions literally.

Did No Second Prances retcon the ending of Magic Duel?
 
Probably not, but I really can’t see any real animosity between Twilight and Trixie after rewatching Magic Duel’s ending.
 
The fact that it’s over Starlight makes it seem even more superficial. Celestia also curiously is oddly uncaring in that episode, because if she did care, we’d have no “funnays” with Twilight and there would possibly also be no conflict at all..

I wouldn’t say so. If I remember correctly, Twilight’s acceptance of Trixie’s apology back in “Magic Duel” sounded to me like “eh, why not? I don’t have to deal with you right now.” That to me didn’t sound like Twilight fully accepting her apology. Plus, a lot of time has passed between Season 3 and Season 6, so she only could’ve remembered Trixie kicking her out of Ponyville and turning it into a dictator like town just for some revenge that Twilight didn’t mean to do. Seeing as how Trixie is far from a humble and compassionate pony, that could also be a factor.
 
I agree though that Twilight was being a worry wart when Starlight started hanging out for Trixie and that her not trusting Glimmer to make her own friend is an insensitive thing to do, but her arguments against Lulamoon does hold some type of water to me.
