As do I. All season long, I had been hoping for Starlight to get some positive interaction with the mane five, and what I get instead is an episode where she makes them her bitches, with Twilight all but praising her for it just before slapping her on the wrist.
 
Suffice it to say, after that episode, I figured there was no chance in hell I would ever like Starlight.

I’m still confident that she will have a better interaction with them by the next season.

After that, Twilight realized Starlight only must look new, weird and evilier friends, the remane5 couldn’t bear Glim style. :o

What I want is for Glimmy to be in their good graces, because I have a headcanon that the other five still hold a grudge on her from their encounter in Our Town, and The Police episode certainly supports my theory.

Well, I wasn’t exactly a big fan of hers before that episode, except for when she was a villain.
 
My opinion of her did improve somewhat in season 7, though.

A scolding or even a punishment would’ve been suffice, but resentment and getting disowned as friends is WAY too out of character for Twilight. Luckily, this comic gave Twilight’s friends a worthy punishment.

A galactic equinox is a common trope to explain away cosmic occurrences without having to explain anything. I think Faust had an original plan for it in mind, but nowadays “The stars will aid her escape” should probably just be taken as “The planets aligning broke NMM’s seal because that’s what cosmic juju does.”

I love TheDoubleWBrothers, they never fail to make me laugh with their comics. That one’s heavily dated, but it still brings a smile to my face. I especially love Trixie’s pose in her panel.

I never really got exactly what people wanted everyone to apologize to Twilight for. Yeah she was right in the end, but at the time she was being paranoid and had no real evidence against Cadence. And despite the lesson of Pinkie sense, you can’t just go along with something like your friend accusing someone just on faith and belief in your friend.
