I want an episode that deals with one of Celestia’s personal students before Twilight. I’m surprised the show has ran this long without doing that topic.
 
Chances are it’d severely piss me off by not so much as ever referencing Sunset Shimmer though, and would probably go out of its way to make sure she never actually existed.
 
  • “Hallway of Students” in Canterlot Castle  
  • Student’s portrait on the wall directly before Twilight is the one Celestia wants her to check up on  
  • It’s not Sunset Shimmer despite what EG said, nor is she even on the walls anywhere  
  • She also has some name that’s yet another variation of “Twilight Sparkle”
     
    Now if they’d do something like that, but have the student be before Sunset (and probably not mention Sunset by name, but that’s fine) then that’d be great.

Mi Castle es Su Castle: After Rainbow Dash gets out of the hospital, Twilight offers to let her stay at the castle until she’s allowed to fly again, but starts regretting it when Dash makes herself a little too at home.
 
The Merciful Ones: Rarity take Sweetie Belle on a cruise. Once they’re on the ship, Rarity runs into Wind Rider, who is trying to find a publisher for his memoirs, and things get a bit tense, while Sweetie Belle is pulled aside by Silver Spoon who needs her help. A bit later, somepony loses an expensive necklace, and asks Rarity to help find it, which she does… In Wind Rider’s cabin. Shortly after Wind Rider is taken away, however, she realizes only a unicorn could have put the necklace where she found it. Wind Rider was framed, and despite the bad blood between them, she may be the only pony who can clear his name, and she has only until the ship reaches its next port to do it. Meanwhile, Gladmane is attempting to do business with Filthy Rich, and Diamond Tiara has taken an instant disliking to him. Silver Spoon and Sweetie Belle need to keep Diamond Tiara under control, lest she get herself in serious trouble, or worse, play into Gladmane’s hooves. By the end, she was really fighting herself, seeing in Gladmane all the worst aspects of the pony she once was. (Should probably be split into two episodes, needs a better name.)
 
Once Bitten, Twice Spy: Twilight attempts to reconnect with Lyra, but a concerned and overprotective Bon Bon tries to prevent them from rekindling their friendship.
 
“Listen, Princess, you might have your pretty little wings, but I still have higher codeword clearance than you. I’ve read your file. You’re bad luck, Sparkle, and I’m not letting you run out on my best friend again. So in case it’s still not clear? Access denied. Have a nice day.”

Claw and Order: Rarity attempts to protect Trixie from a group of Crab Nasties looking for the Alicorn Amulet, but finds herself on trial for assaulting an officer of the law. Trixie, hauled in as a witness, blames herself and desperately tries to figure out a way she can free the mare who’d been prepared to fight monsters for her.

Silver Linings Cookbook: Silver Spoon enters a cooking competition, but when Zesty Gourmand is brought in as a judge, her criticism is so vicious that Silver Spoon loses all faith in her culinary skills. Diamond Tiara brings in the CMC to help, but begins to question their methods when they plan to have Silver Spoon cook for another demanding critic: Miss Harshwhinny. (Not sure how to justify her being part of the storyline, maybe she’s judging another competition or something, but she’s due for another guest spot, and the idea is that the CMC think Silver Spoon needs to know she’s legitimately impressed somepony, and figure a “tough but fair” type like Harshwhinny strikes them as a good choice)

Episodes that I’ve wanted to see since season 1;
 
  • A Spike origin episode with lots of dragon related world building.  
  • A Trixie origin episode like where she’s from and why she’s traveling a lot.  
  • An episode where Celestia or Luna tells stories about Star Swirl preferably with Star Swirl having a speaking role voiced by Patrick Stewart.  
  • A Starlight and Sunburst slice of life episode. Something dumb like Starlight takes Sunburst to the optometrist to get his prescription glasses or something.  
  • A Cheerilee episode that does not involve any school children and may or may not involve her wearing a cheer leader outfit.  
  • An entire episode that revolves around nothing but Octavia’s bow tie snapping of her neck.  
  • An episode where Vapor Trail and Sky Stinger meets Double Diamond, Party Favor, Night Glider and Sugar Belle and they go on an adventure.  
  • An episode involving the return of either Quibble, Cheese or Coloratura for a high profile VA episode.  
  • An episode that reveals Sunburst and Flash are the best buddies stallion equivalent of Starlight and Trixie.
     
    I guess what I’m saying is, the mane 6 have been done to death and the show has a lot of interesting characters left open to interpretation that I would really like to learn more about.

I guess what I’m saying is, the mane 6 have been done to death and the show has a lot of interesting characters left open to interpretation that I would really like to learn more about.
 
They have to keep using the Mane 6, it’s in the contract. In the event anyone replaces them it’s the Glimmer 6. And foals other than the CMC appear to be under heavy usage restrictions.

Probably just theorizing. Look at the toys. There are so many characters that I do not see as toys. The show will use characters being pushed by Hasbro as toys.

Rock the House: Pinkie, Apple Bloom, and Starlight arrange a belated housewarming (cave-warming?) party for Maud. (Maud’s new place is GORGEOUS and the show needs to spend some real time there.)
 
Sounds Heard In the Night: As a result of their previous brushes with dark magic, Rarity and Trixie are vulnerable to the influence of an otherworldly being attempting to manifest itself in Equestria.
 
Past Tension: Twilight’s library has no books about zebras, so Starlight decides to take her questions straight to Zecora. However, Zecora’s kindness quickly evaporates when Starlight asks her about herself, and she quickly tells Starlight to leave. Surprised and a bit confused, Starlight decides to talk to those who know Zecora better than she does in an attempt to figure out what she did wrong and how to show she meant no harm.  
Zecora: “Do you believe I live alone because I want my secrets known? What right have you to come here prying, with all that you’d prefer denying? There’s nothing left I’d care to say. Now and forever, go away!”

Okay, this one got a bit long. Sorry.
 
Off the Mark: Curious about the special connection the Crusaders share (and still eager to impress Twilight), Starlight convinces them to let her swap their cutie marks and help her observe any differences, certain that three nigh-inseparable friends with nearly-identical cutie marks can handle a day in each others’ shoes. However, when she has trouble casting the spell on three ponies at once, Sweetie Belle tries to help, causing a magical accident that swaps the Crusaders’ bodies instead. Starlight theorizes that the spell should still wear off after 24 hours or when they connect with the marks by solving a cutie mark problem, but promises to look for another solution. But the spell fails to wear off, and after days of no cutie mark problems and no luck in Starlight’s research, hope seems to be lost. Wracked with guilt, Starlight removes her own cutie mark and heads to the Ponyville dam. When the Crusaders follow her, they find her preparing to throw away her mark for good by dropping its jar into the river below and letting the current carry it out to sea. The Crusaders need to convince Starlight to forgive herself, to accept that not everything is her fault or responsibility, and to come back to the ponies that care about her instead of throwing everything away. eventually, they not only get through to her, but they also cause her to have an epiphany about how to make the spell work. And sure enough, solving Starlight’s cutie mark problem was enough to undo the botched spell and return the Crusaders to their proper bodies. The episode ends with Starlight preparing to try the spell again… But this time, she has Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash there too, using those emotional connections to keep the Crusaders grounded in themselves as she moves the marks.

Another Social event draws near with Sweetie Belle looking ecstatic about it, however, Scootaloo seems oddly uncertain about it, leaving the two members of the CMC to try and find out why their pal seems suddenly so hesitant about the Mother/Daughter Social.
