I just realized that the “Great Plateau Tower” stage doesn’t have a day/night cycle feature like in “Breath of the Wild”.

…for the record, I’m a CASUAL player. I only joined because I want to finish the “play 10 battle arenas” challenge. I don’t want “respect”.

Forget it, it’s not like beating any of the online challenges would get me anything other than snacks, gold or spirit points. I just wanna complete as much as I can because servers aren’t going to last forever, as evidenced by the online play for DS, Wii, 3DS and Wii U going down. Who knows how long it’ll be until the Switch is next? Time will tell.

New guy joins in and get sandbagged for like a match.

At that point I would have played a lot better. Trust me. You get some respect that way if you atleast KO one of the other players.

I finally joined an arena, it was a free-for-all with four players, three stock…and get this: as soon as the match started, the other three players ganged up on me, and once I was defeated, they just stood around until time ran out, even going so far as to delay the “sudden death” for like a minute.

We forget that a game isn’t made by ONE person alone. There’s hundreds, if not thousands, of people who do things like programming, code, graphics, music, sound effects, voices, testing, copyrights (to get the non-Nintendo characters in), blah blah blah…

So, y’know…blame all the names in the credits, even the actors who come in, say stuff and then hit the bar after. (At least that’s how I think voice acting works, I never got into it)

People sent death threats to Sakurai and his team over freaking Waluigi of all characters so you know what? Fuck him if I was Piranha Plant I’d be laughing my ass off

Speaking of fanfics, I once brainstormed one where Piranha Plant reads the really mean comments from players of the “real world” who are angry that he got in instead of Waluigi, and becomes depressed and runs away, but the fighters manage to find him and cheer him up (even Ganondorf).

I considered making a Joke Roster for a long fan fic I had in mind since Brawl. I just realized if I did it Toad would have three slots on the rouster.

Oh I’m aware of him in Wrecking Crew, I just figured I’d mention him since he hasn’t really been included as a spirit before, his appearance in the movie is also different from the games so you’d almost assume he was an original character.

Foreman Spike isn’t that unique he was from “Wrecking Crew” originally. Also from “Wtecking Crew 98,” (where they oddly shaved his beard) and the Japan only “Mobile Golf” GBC game.

I just wanna say that “Subspace Emissary” was a good idea but it could’ve been better. Especially since they had to cut some scenes out for time, which only got a proper explanation on the SSBB website (which may or may not still be up as of now), or that they hadn’t planned to include Sonic, Jigglypuff, Wolf or Toon Link until it was way late in development (which is why the last three aren’t fought in that mode until AFTER the final boss’s defeat).

Wait they are release actual new spirits? I didn’t know about this, but it’s great that Smash even after it’s been said and done still manages to stay relevant after all this time.

I agree with a lot of your predictions, I too would like to see Mario Wonder, Tears of the Kingdom, Scarlet & Violet, Splatoon 3, and Sonic Superstars/Frontiers.
As for the Mario movie I also agree it is unlikely to happen, but it would still be cool to see them include it, primarily though characters unique to that film like Foreman Spike, Spiny Shell Koopa General, and Giuseppe (Jumpman).

For the record, I’m aware that the Mario movie is highly unlikely due to copyrights and other garbage that I really don’t understand (same deal that kept Sonic’s movies from being represented in this game, even if in “Sonic Dash” and I think “Sonic Forces: Speed Battle” we only got Sonic’s iterations from both movies while Sonic Dash kept the movie’s version of Robotnik hidden and simply reused Mike Pollock’s voice lines), this is all just harmless predicting. It’s not like any of what’s on the list is gonna come true anyway, right? 🤷
