I’ve thought about how best put this reply, and I don’t think there’s any other way than being blunt.
 
TL;DR version, I wanted to be a Geneticist. Went into a community college to get my undergraduate work done. I cracked and finished out my undergraduate/Associates Degree/Associate in Arts degree with a final course to round it out, felt like a easy out to me and still does.
 
The Pharmacy Technician stuff I discussed with Pharmacists at two stores near me said I would go in, work under someone, gain the experience, and use that experience to take the certification exam. Now it’s turning the same problem when I considered going in for the Lab Technician where all job requirements stipulate that I be certified. To get that certification I needed to find a place that would let me volunteer there, get 1500hrs under my belt, and then I could take the certification course for the lab tech stuff.
 
Anymore, I just don’t know what to do. I thought I had “skills,” but, from what I’ve seen of other people, my skills aren’t special.

Damn, I am so PO’d trying to find a job. Talked to people about being a Pharm Tech, got good info, their info was corroborated with online material, and yet I can’t get the dang jobs. I need “certifications” to get the job, but I need the job to get the experience to gain said certification. This is total bull crap.
 
I can’t even get a job wiping down shopping carts at the grocery store without some jackass employment thing telling me I need 2 years cart maintenance experience with a certification in cleaning them. (that part being sarcasm but it feels like it.)
 
Gah!!! I just want to strangle something. This is so infuriating. I went to college for nothing. I’m 31 and pissed away 3 years of my life for a worthless Associates degree.

I have another literature based gripe. I’ve vented my frustrations at the lit establishment with the “syfi fantasy ghetto” before, and this is in a similar vein.
 
I’m sure you’re all familiar with The Hunger Games. I myself haven’t read it, but it represents a thankfully growing breed of story that was once shunned (well, still is). It’s written in present tense. If anyone has ever had a creative writing course, or listened to any “critic” you’ve probably heard them say that stories have to be written in past tense, and that present tense is reserved for Comic Books, Movies, and Games. Present tense writing has therefore been considered a “lesser” or “childish” way of doing things since it’s most commonly seen (in literary form) in comic books. This attitude represents the same elitist bullshit that the fantasy ghetto does. For starters, why does the fact that it’s done in comics and video-games suddenly make it wrong? I love books, but they aren’t these scared tomes that must be kept pure from the rabble. When I press people on why present tense is wrong they typically say “Because stories are supposed to be in past tense, so stories should be in past tense”…Nice fucking circular logic on that one. An appeal to tradition, this is the way we’ve always done it, so lets keep doing it that way. Or they’ll fall back on the “it’s what comic books do” nonsense. Yes, present tense can’t work in every situation, it’s more limited in it’s usage than past tense. But it can be used to great effect, especially in action or dialogue heavy stories. It can present a sense of immediacy and tension that past tense can’t always accomplish, and it’s a great way to draw in young readers that crave that kind of engagement. Especially in today’s world where video games have become so prolific.
 
Speaking of the ghetto, I love when these assholes try to justify works they like that are clearly sci-fi or fantasy by calling it “classical” or making up some technicality. One of the greatest examples is Frankenstein. Picture for a moment that Frankenstein had never been written, no imagine someone coming up to you and pitching you the idea…

Tell me, what genre would you classify that under?
 
Or take the works of Jules Verne and H.G Wells. Again, these elitist bastards will justify it with “oh but it’s classical literature…

All these stuffy fuckwads do is stifle creativity by forcing authors to curtail their ideas to fit into per-determined scheme lest they face ridicule. And when a story does come out that they like, they jump through mental hoops to justify it without compromising their pompousness.
 
We distill it all down to these supposed key elements, and in doing so we sterilize it. It turns from an art to a science, made methodical and calculated.

That’s probably because there isn’t any difference, at least not according to the wikipedia page of it.

and apparently, the reason for this was that Ichigo’s reincarnation didn’t make it in the 21st century like in the show, he actually lived during the 12th to 14th century of Japan and his sword wasn’t named Zangetsu, it was Hangetsu..  
those were a weird couple of centuries for Japan but if wikipedia said it, then it must be true.
 
the thing I find a little interesting is that Cuntboy even exists, because it’s a pretty unimaginative name if you ask me and if that’s what they were going for, they should have also used Dickgirl.
 
 
but hey, at least they’re not asshole-less..

For the record, I don’t begrudge anyone for liking Futa, it’s just not my thing.

I honestly see very little difference between futa and cuntboy when you get down to the very root concept, though I do wish they had a more pleasant-sounding name for the latter. “Cuntboy” just sounds too vulgar for my tastes.

This here’s the right place and time to say it. I’ll always be into it what with being bisexual and all, but I can definitely understand that folks would be disgusted or repulsed by it.
 
Lord knows there’s enough sexual kinks that disgust the hell out of me and yet others enjoy.

it’s not something that can be explained in words, for instance, I like to imagine myself suffocated between a voluptuous lady’s legs and ass cheeks. Most men and some women understand that, while others will probably find it just weird, but in any case, it’s not something you can reciprocate unless you just feel that way about it, because for lack of better words, how you feel about it is what turns you on.
