Alkaid awoke in a hollowed out tree, covering her eyes slightly as the sun filtered in through the hole in the top of the dead oak. She stretched and cleaned the small twigs and leaves out of her lustrous black fur. “Ugh… Morning already..?” She mumbled, poking her head out of her little den.

Nieve is resting on top of the Oak tree. She was getting use to sleeping up in trees and keeping herself balance so she won’t fall off

Alkaid heard a soft rustling noise and looked up, she spotted another pokemon higher up in the tree and tilted her head. “Uh.. Hello?”

Nieve wasn’t paying no attention

Alkaid shrugged and went to a nearby clearing to hunt, she looked around for a moment before spotting a lone deerling, she crouched low and went after it, pinning it down and killing it with a bite to the neck and carried it back to the tree.

Alkaid looked upwards to see Nieve finally waking up, she smirked faintly. “I’ve got breakfast.” She said casually.

Nieve: Good, you brought back fresh meat.

Alkaid nodded. “Yeah, we’ll split it 50/50.” She said as she used a claw to cut the prey in half.

Nieve begins tearing off flesh from the prey

Alkaid sits back and begins eating as well, she gnawed meat from the bones and then sat back after eating her fill, using a claw to pick scraps from her teeth.

“You’ve got that right.” Alkaid said. “Those damn humans can’t even evolve their pokemon properly.” She added, flicking a piece of bone out of her teeth. “I hope no stupid human kids come through here, thinking they can catch us.”
