Project Amethyst (NSFW)

This is the story of a group of ponies who have been working for years on a way to go back in time safely, with no limits. Finally, they have done it. Now they are assigned, by Princess Celestia herself, in a test to attempt to stop Sombra’s rule in the Crystal Empire early and prevent it from ever disappearing, codenamed “Project Amethyst”.

Bytes
 
Species: Unicorn
 
Quote: Nothing really makes sense, does it?
 
Function: Engineer/Researcher
 
Bio: Bytes is a unicorn in the group who helped to make the improved Time Travel spell. His job in the group is making spells and wacky technology, along with researching information about various subjects. He’s participating in the assignment so that he can gather more information about Sombra’s tyranny and the conditions of the Crystal Ponies during his rule.
 
Personality: Bytes is kinda frazzled and a bit nuts, but he’s careful when working!…….usually. He says that to him, nothing really makes sense, but that in just saying that, we won’t get anywhere, so we should always try to gain an understanding of the world and its strange properties. He’s slightly tired most of the time, and daydreams a lot, but can get things done when he puts his mind to it!
 
+Cares a lot about other ponies, especially if they are having rough times in their lives.

Personality:Quiet, tough, smart, socially awkward.

Cerus
 
Species: Changedling
 
Quote: “no I’m not unable to decide on a favourite form, i just like to try new ones.
 
Function: Handyman, basically assistant to everyone.
 
Bio: originally an Officer of the changeling army, he is one of their most apt shapeshifters and can provide just about any necessities.
 
Personality: loyal, loudmouth, a bit of a coward up close and personal when not transformed, theorized bi-polar.
 

Dark Ice
 
Species: Unicorn
 
Quote: N/A
 
Function: King of Tartarus (Possibly until Season 8 finale)
 
Bio: King Sombra’s first born son. After his father got defeated the first time, he was sent into Tartarus at 15. At 19, he was able to kill Hades (Despite the name, he is not a god in anyway. I have a different set of them). After killing him, he was able to steal his mana (magical energy, duh), and is now ruler of Tartarus.

Personality: Very egotistical, incredibly harsh, loves chaos. He’ll do anything to get his way, and can be very manipulative. Is able to power through normal ponies due to his power. He can still defeated, although it would take a bunch of magic like his father.
 

Okay, we’re starting the story. It’s not too late to join the group though!
 
Our story begins in the beautiful city of Canterlot, home to most of the wealthy 1% of the population, as well as the Princesses. Right now, the group we are focusing on is walking through the square towards the castle. Bytes looks to the rest of the group.
 
Bytes: Man, I can’t believe the princesses summoned us. US! I mean, who’d have thought?

Bytes: Oh, yea…….well, I’ve only tested the spell on fruit and squirrels, and it didn’t seem to have any negative impacts on our time period. At least, none that I’ve noticed.

“the point would be though that we couldn’t possibly notice.”

“I’m kinda nervous…”

Bytes: Yea, of course you’d be. I mean, it is the princesses, after all. But, hey! We’ve all got each other’s backs! So don’t worry!

Bytes: Ah, yes, that’d be the case for you guys, but I’m……an exception. Don’t ask how, even I don’t know.

“interesting…”

As the group continues towards the castle, Bytes accidentally bumps into another pony.
 
Bytes: Oh, sorry sir! Geez, I should pay attention more.
 
Pony: Watch where you’re going, you simpleton! Ugh, now my suit is wrinkled! You lower-class ponies have no regard for others…
 
Bytes: Hey, I said I was sorry! Sweet Celestia…

“good sir, i KNOW you did not just call the envoys of Tempera lower class ponies, surely you would be fully aware that celestia would without hesitation throw you under the bus if you did.”

Bytes: Ay carumba, it was just an accident. Alright, let’s go.
 
The group continues onward. After a bit, Bytes looks at Cerus.
 
Bytes: So Cerus, how do you feel about this whole thing?

“worried mainly, the princess, has a court full of hot air balloons like that guy, she would not openly snub them to make time for us if it wasn’t important.”

Bytes: Heh heh, yea, I bet they’ll be bellyachin’ at us when we walk in about how were wasting their precious time. People like them are why I don’t wanna be rich. I’ll end up full of myself too. Swines…
 
After a good while, the group arrives at the gates to the castle. Two guards are posted at the gate. The guards stop them.
 
Guard 1: State your business, please.

“Bytes, Zaknel and Cerus, here on royal summons.”

Bytes: Hey, don’t forget the others.  
(Just pretend there are others with us. This way, others can join the group.)
 
Guard 2: Alright, go ahead.
 
The guards move out of the way as the gate opens, and the group continues on. They walk through the courtyard, admiring the sights as they proceed towards the entrance. The entrance opens and the group walks in. Soon, they are in front of the throne room. Two more guards are in front of the doors.
 
Guard 1: Please wait until the princesses are ready.
 
Bytes looks at Zaknel.
 
Bytes: You still nervous?

Bytes: Alright, alright…..
 
Minutes pass. Still waiting.
 
Bytes:………..y’know, if they expect me to bow to them, I’m not gonna.
