[Dark/Trigger Warning] About certain tag and its implications. (Cutting/Self harm)

Should “cutting” imply “self harm”?  
I’ve seen posts with the tag “cutting” that contain self harm or imply it but there are other images that contain cutting but it involves slicing or cutting different things.
