What exactly is the site definition for that?  
I feel like it’s being misplaced when it’s used on screencaps and idw comic

When a posted content and an official content was released that is similar to the past content, that’s hilarious in hindsight. Like when the Winged spike is a tag before he got his wings or when aj reacts badly to pears but actually a half-pear.

Is Spike having wings in fan art before Molt Down really “hilarious in hindsight”? That was a pretty common fan theory for how Spike would develop and the only way that would seem funny now would be images of people freaking out over artists giving him wings, decrying it as something that would never happen in show.

I don’t think the tag applies to things that are actual predictions or non-hilarious. Otherwise there’d be a huge mess between images related to “Dangerous Business”, which is a S1-era fanfic that basically predicted all of the S4 episode “Three’s a Crowd”.
