I’ve separated the tags and restored the “artist:yocchan” to the images that originally had it, removing “artist:possssessss” where it seemed appropriate.
 
I’ve also left notes on the tags that these might be the same artist, might not be, in case more information becomes available - but for now the “artist:yocchan” tag is usable again and is no longer aliased.

I still have to go there and look myself, and the amount of work I have to do behind the scenes is similar to any other one that I do, but it’s like the poster child of “This is what I need to click the buttons”.

It’s almost identical to the ones you and others do - and I don’t expect anyone to ever do it again: getting the temporary image to work can introduce it’s own conundrums and problems.

To be fair, I didn’t notice it because I was on my phone. Even on my computer, making such a preview image would take an extra minute of Print Screen, cropping in MS Paint, and then pasting the cropped image into my Imgur profile, and finally linking it here. Something that’s way easier on a computer compared to a phone, obviously.

Oh, yeah. Plus, so often those images end up not loading in the future, so we’d have no way to audit what was done and why.

Imgur is more reliable than other sites like Photobucket or whatever.

True, but we sometimes go back many months or even years to figure out what happened with artist tags, so having text that sits here on the site is best for making sure that we’ll have it in the future.
 
Also, I’m concerned that if others try to do it, they’ll end up taking screenshots that require more interpretation than the really brilliant example that @Anonshy made.
 
So, while I completely applaud it, I hope no one else tries it.

Well, wow, I can assure that this is the thing that I less expected from today, even more considering that I think that was my first post in this thread, haha. But I guess, thank you!
 
I don’t bother myself on imgur or other sites like that because it requires that I save the image, I just took a screenshot, cropped it, paste it on a personal server on Discord, uploaded it there, and copied the link to put it here. There are other online services that lets you to paste images from your clipboard without necessarily uploading.
