Princess Carry aliased to -> Bridal Carry

As far as I can tell they’re the same thing. But maybe there’s some difference I’m missing? But yeah, if you don’t know of any then should probably just go ahead and alias them.

I’ve heard the term “bridal carrying” quite a few times, but this is the first time I’ve heard of “princess carry”, so it seems to me (at least) that “bridal carry” is the more common term? But apparently there are more “Princess Carry” tags.

But I guess if searching one searches the other and tagging one tags the other then it doesn’t really matter.

It does appear to be the same pose, but contextually different.
“Bridal carry” I think of as specifically carrying your bride across the threshold, or reenacting that tradition to symbolize the affirmation of a relationship - and though I suppose a lot of the images in the tag are lacking that specific setting, that’s the implication there.
“Princess carry” has a very different connotation to me - the “my hero!” thing where the damsel in distress is being carried out of the danger, and the romantic subtext is far less matrimonial.
