What is up with the current filter system?

So the tag/filter system seems to have changed so filters are not as easy to use. By that I mean stuff that was filtered as hidden content is not being hidden, and the ability to hide tags easily from an image has been removed, so you need to remember the tag and go into your filters and add them there. Is there any reason why this change was made because it kinda makes filter use not as useful or easy.

There’ve been no changes. Are you using the right filter? Or are you running some script that would be messing with the site in some way?

No scripts as far as I’m aware, and yes I’m sure the filter isn’t working properly for me. For example I have the grimdark tag hidden on my +18 filter, and yet grimdark stuff has appeared in searches. Also the dropdown for tags when I am on an image only gives me the “watch” and “filters” button.

Since when is this happening for you? There haven’t been any changes at all to the site in the last 3ish days. Have you tried a different browser?
 
Also your current filter only hides two tags, of which grimdark is not one of them.

the +18 filter is what blocks grimdark. And yeah this has been happening for just about that long, it not a day or two longer.

I think I may have found what could be causing it, not 100% sure because I’m not able to recreate the issue. I’ve used Tampermonkey before which is an addon, it was enabled but no scripts were running. After I tested the site with disabling and reenabling it, the issue seems to be gone. But again, not entirely sure why that fixed it or if it even is that because it’s not changing anything after I first disabled it.
