@Kamazeustra
All she needed to do was hold the changelings off so Twilight could go back to the map and fix the timeline,she said it herself. As long as chrysalis is focused on her she’s doing what she needs to do,plus she didn’t have time to get a weapon so charging was all she could do.
Winning the fight was never the point. This was more of a defiant last stand. Zecora knew that Twilight would eventually fix the timeline anyway, so whatever happened in this one wouldn’t matter in the end.
@Background Pony Number 17
Yeah, in the Nightmare Moon timeline the only characters left are those that are with Nightmare Moon. Not even the mention of a resistance.
Wow, just noticed that Chrysalis’ blast takes out all the ponies in frame, not just Zecora.
Guess the one that could take down Celestia wouldn’t be too bothered by a bunch of freedom fighters.
Now I want to see her return even more…
this future was so dark.
i mean they had spears, weapons ready to kill with, even the somba war was play fighting but here?
the last bunch of ponies driven to be ready to kill anything that looks at them funny try to survive the last few days before being either killed or dragged off to the pony food camps for the rest of their life.
fuck man.
@zerowinger66
I’m sure that last bit of moving is there to pass the censor freaks. It’s almost always in kids shows that defeated people will still move or groan after falling to the ground, as if to say “look, they’re not dead, so it’s all still kid friendly”
For all I care Zecora died and her corpse was spasming :)
This was done in silhouette to imply that the battle here was more bloody than the fights shown in the Crystal War timeline. Each timeline Twilight was tossed into gets progressively worse and more violent.
