I have been exceedingly cautious of writers and generally detest any sort of comic work that ends up as a parody or mimic of an anime as all it is, 99 times out of 100, is an (expensive) venting of seeing the characters in an “edgy’ situation.
 
The fact that you’ll actually TALK with us instead of being zipped up and letting Pia take the “blame” for everything, gives you more credit that most of those folks.
 
[Spoiler]I’m guilty as well. I intend to get a comic of Pia’s version of Spike replacing Kinnikuman in the Scramble For the Throne Arc with various characters replacing the other wrestlers, such as AJ being Terryman, Gilda being Warsman, Iron Will being Buffaloman, and Rarity as Robin Mask. I have already thought about a lot and how to make it different, but it will still follow the general plotline of the Scramble for the Throne.[/spoiler]

Hah, we’ve had dozens of people like that, especially in the early days when we first introduced Celestia as coo-coo for coco puffs. There was this one guy who would send me a messages every day calling me an obese, celestia hating douchebag or something–it’s been so long I can’t remember exactly. In return I messaged him song lyrics from Bye-bye birdie. last thing he said was “fuck you, I’m done with this shit” and haven’t heard from him since. I think he deleted his tumblr account after that. If memory recalled it was gamercelestia or something along those lines :P

Of course, once stuff gets personal and they do things like point out your personality flaws and character traits you may dislike, well, THEN that’s when things get real.

well actually, Black Lagoon is only an inspiration. Although i don’t write the story, the fact I’m the main person making this comic make sa difference, as I decide what I’m showing and how, we work as a group with FBB and I also have incidence in how this works, in fact is rather different from the fanfic that FFB wrote. So have hopes guys lol I’m sure you’re gonna like what this story has to tell, as this wouldn’t be that it is if this were not a team. In other words, this is not Pia or FFB work, is Pia+FFB collaboration, so you can judge from there.  
Also, the quickness and quality plus are thanks to the whole team, and here we can also comment that there’s PabloRacer with the guns, Heimo and Angel with the BGs and we algo have Blaze coloring the characters and Crecent Script coloring the BGs.

Until just a short while ago, I had no idea it was NOT written by Pia-sama.
 
The revelation that this isn’t a pia-sama story and is instead just a telling of black lagoon but replacing the characters shoots down a lot of hope I had.
 
The reason for this is that ALL the comments state that the character spike represents from black lagoon is just a buttmonkey to get beat on while everyone else does all the work.
 
I didn’t need to see that in a fan work, we get plenty of it in the show.

I don’t know where everypony is getting the idea that Pia is the one who writes it, as it says in the credits that it’s the FlimFlamBros. This story was influenced by Black Lagoon, this is true. It will go into a different direction from it in the near future. Pia, who draws (one of the main people who draws it) has never even heard of Black Lagoon when I proposed the comic idea to her. So in a way, you’re both right.

Unless there is a statement somewhere where pia magically began reading black lagoon and is basically just going to change the plot of this INTO blacklagoon, then I’m going to have to say the two are unrelated.
