Not that impressed with how boobinator’s being developed here. She had the potential to be a decent character but now she’s just being flanderized into a two-dimensional sociopath.
Depends on what Pia’s setting up with Double-Oh-Two-Eight-Four. I’m guessing (only guessing) she’s the baddie that’ll be a thorn in the Rogue Diamond-ers’ side for most of the main plot, so I don’t expect her to be iced this encounter. However, judging from your reactions, she’s doing her job.
…though I fully expect Pia to do a fantasy sequence/one-shot drawing where she IS burnt to a crisp. because you people. :P
Didn’t this guy take a bullet directly to the cranium earlier and came out okay afterwards? Unless you’re secretly Bruce Lee, I don’t see you topping that with HtH, lady.
Uhmmm hello…..you guys seems to forget that this comic/manga is influenced by Black Lagoon. So Spike is much like Rock. No really battle capacitys, but a few badass moments.
@Spiritus Arcane
Well for what it’s worth, he stopped being the punching bag after Pinkie’s introduction. Also, it seems as though the ships have still docked with one another… but I doubt he’ll actually drop the briefcase and fall into the water. I’ll say… one or the other, or neither.

Unfortunately…given Spike’s status as the butt-monkey so far, I see him getting knocked off the boarding ramp into the water. …But crossing fingers for him taking a level in badass instead.
@RIG
Oh yeah I can see how the decision to use an anti-material rifle as a staff won’t backfire when used against a dragon that can survive a 9mm round to the forehead at point blank range.
