I’m gonna go out on a limb here and assume the artist is thinking that a changeling’s gender in it’s natural form is either/or. They are shapeshifters after all. Till Hasbro comes out and says that there are male and female changelings, or that changelings have no gender, it’s all up to head canon right now.
