If by “target audience”, you mean that I like to watch pastel ponies in a show titled My Little Pony, then yes, I suppose I am.  
And also, I adore Sunset Shimmer’s pony design and really feel sore that it’s so underutilized.

I know what we can expect in the future, but the Celestia/Sunset reunion in Forgotten Friendship just feels utterly perfunctory. I mean, ideally, they would be building up to that as the center of an Equestria Girls short (or extended short if 11 minutes isn’t enough), before having the reunion as the climax of the story. As it stands, according to A Friendship To Remember, it’s a scene that happens about exactly how we all would expect it to, before diving into the high-school-AU reason that Sunset’s there to begin with. Maybe I’m impossible to please, but it just feels a bit uninspired the way that it’s tackled, like it’s just like “hey, we know you guys were crying for this for the longest time, but we can’t be bothered to make it the center of a plot, so here it is, now can we PLEASE get back to Sunset’s adventures in the human world? This is what everybody wants when they hear about My Little Pony”.

Touche, but still, that seemed a bit perfunctory and bait-and-switch-y. They know how much we want to see Sunset as a pony again, so they provide… under the proviso that it springboards into a “hey there, EqG fans, this is Starlight Glimmer, she’s like the FIM equivalent of Sunset Shimmer, just look at her mane, and better yet, she can save the day all on her own”. IOW, the bait is Sunset Shimmer as a pony, and the switch is more Starlight shilling.
