I know what we can expect in the future, but [spoiler]||the Celestia/Sunset reunion in Forgotten Friendship[/spoiler]|| just feels utterly perfunctory. I mean, ideally, they would be building up to that as the center of an Equestria Girls short (or extended short if 11 minutes isn't enough), before [spoiler]||having the reunion as the climax of the story[/spoiler]||. As it stands, [spoilers]||according to A Friendship To Remember, it's a scene that happens about exactly how we all would expect it to, before diving into the high-school-AU reason that Sunset's there to begin with[/spoiler]||. Maybe I'm impossible to please, but it just feels a bit uninspired the way that it's tackled, like it's just like "hey, we know you guys were crying for this for the longest time, but we can't be bothered to make it the center of a plot, so here it is, now can we PLEASE get back to Sunset's adventures in the human world? This is what everybody wants when they hear about My Little Pony".
