Personally I liked Voyager best of the 5 captaincy’s. Sisko was my most disliked, chiefly due to the fact that by the end, every other line out of his mouth was ‘The prophets want.’

Jokes aside, Stargate SG-1 was my childhood. I owned all the seasons (and most of Atlantis)… but since I was a horrible kid who couldn’t take care of anything, most of the DVD’s are unplayable. Conversely, I never got into Star Trek until I was a teenager.

Voyager was definitely a looker. And in my opinion Voyager was the most Star Trek of Star Treks; you can’t get much more “new frontiers” and such than being in an uncharted area of the Galaxy.
 
But I’m a weirdo who likes Enterprise’s opening theme, so maybe I’m just dumb.

I think the problem isn’t that she was a poorly-conceived character but that she was written inconsistently and had to do highly questionable things for the sake of the plot. All the captains had out-of-character episodes, but it seemed like Janeway got it the worst.
