Things that are branded Cajun have never been as good as the things made in some old french lady’s kitchen, or in one of the restaurants in the Quarter. South Louisiana in particular is really into art, and a lot of folks consider cooking an art. Also, it’s almost customary for men to be a little fat in their beyond a certain age.

Yeah, they tolerate atheists, but prefer them on the quieter side, if you get me. Not everyone is as old-fashioned, but tradition is fairly important down here.
