I actually liked that part but it was what did AFTER that short bit of continuity that made me facepalm. The episode wasn’t bad and some parts were funny but by god forbid someone want to remark about their growth and everyone assumes they imply they aren’t allowed to behave like kids still.
Lets look at their past episodes for a moment, post getting their cutiemarks, they had shown(and even a little before) a leap in maturity in how they interacted with their sisters and other ponies in general.
Fast-forward to this episode and their getting their hookup ideas from a STORYBOOK that parents like Shining Armor and Cadance would read to Flurryheart!
I mean hell, just removing the storybook all together would have made this better since it implies they are at least trying to think of ideas on their own.
>didn’t pay attention to the growth these three have had in comparison
Yes, because wanting to help Mac get with someone he actully likes is not a sign they grew from when they tried to hook him up with someone they thought he should be with…
You know the thing they actully pointed out themselves.
You know, not thinking they know best and trying to help others, the thing they learned is what they are best at, clearly they never grew.
I’m surprised OP isn’t complain they have cutie marks so they are not the same CMC.
I mean they are still kids, can;t remove all childish behavior right away because they got there cutie marks.
