@northern haste
I actually came here to post a similar comment.
@Prof.NightJack
I can understand how that would be a logical conclusion; it felt like a plot-convenient way to get Starlight to Canterlot without Twilight following, but Twilight’s reaction helped me accept it and get on with the episode.
@Prof.NightJack
I mean it works one way as in the show can have elements in the spin-off but not the other way around.
Now, I’m not claiming it’s not canon but if it is canon it’s the type that has zero impact on the show. That’s what I meant when I said she doesn’t exist on the show. Zero mention of her from Twilight and Celestia. No signs of the mirror and the most damning one is not even showing up for the season 5 finale despite having a major impact if she hadn’t been stopped by Twilight.
So even if that’s pony Glim Glam it doesn’t mean much because it’s not going to be brought up in the show, as if it never happened.
The map gives its first SOLO mission, its first NON-ELEMENT mission, and already it’s one of the harder missions to complete.
Either The Map tries to get rid of Starlight by sending her on a suicide mission–and fails horribly, or The Map is telling us that Starlight is taking over.
Well Starlight got a map epiosde. Maybe the map is now handing out missions to other characters like the CMCs or Spike, but somehow I doubt it. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Season final is about the Mane Six having to get the Elements of Harmony back and then Starlight gets her own element and they official become the Mane Seven.
Starlight being in every episode involving the Mane Six…. This is going to be a real challenge for me. XD
@MegaAnimationFan
Just saying that more people would think about the possibilities this opens up if they had started non Mane Six map calls with, like, the CMC or something. Maybe even if it was just Starlight Glimmer & another non Mane Six pony.
@PonyPon
Exactly. And now they’re branching off to other ponies, because, like I just said, even the Elements don’t have all the answers. What’s the problem with that?
@OneOverTwo
It’s not the show writers fault that some “fans” can’t look at certain episodes with an open mind….
@MegaAnimationFan
I think people would see it better if they had used a less divisive character as the first example of the map being able to call outside the Mane Six.
