Well it IS the same concept only why would the evil version of the Princess of Day be named Nightmare Star?  
Both of those concepts are associated with night-time. (and yes I know the sun is technically a star but still. Nightmare still doesn’t make sense.)

I thought Daybreaker was Nightmare Star and it was basically the same thing as Mane Goodall being renamed Dr. Fauna.

I actually like Daybreaker better, name included.

I love the name Daybreaker, its unique instead of having to copy the whole “Nightmare” part of Luna. Also, 100% head canon that Daybreaker came into existence in the barren wasteland future that Starlight and Twilight saw :P

well there are some versions of solar flare that i think look better, but yes daybreaker does look better then this version of solar flare

Daybreaker looks way more badass

I like the name Nightmare Star more than Daybreaker. I figured they were both, more or less supposed to be the same character.

“Daybreaker” sounds like the name of a heavy metal album, so it wins hands-down.

I knew this is bound to happen, but the crew uses Daybreaker as the name when I still prefer Solar Flare. It’s kind of interesting when the dark side of Celestia pops up.

Daybreaker wins, but Nightmare Star is so fashion that she’s surely the solar form of Nightmare Rarity.

There’s no point in “arguing” about which one is best.  
Daybreaker is the closest we’ll probably ever get to an evil Celestia, and if someone complains this breaks their “headcanon” then I’m out XD
