they do not know what they are doing, instead of loving a character like timber who is with his sister who’s the only family he has left, they hate him and letting him die taking away his girl pairing with that stupid character with blue hair does not count. Like, it would be neat if they did the kind of thing where they were together in an episode and a bunch of shit unrelated to romance happened like they were fighting a bad guy or something, and in the end they kissed. Like, that’d be totally great :D

That would be one of the reasons why, while I like shipping in fan related stuff, I’m perfectly fine with romance not taking the center stage in the show.
 
That being said, I don’t think everyone will agree with you on the show engaging more into romance being sad or a bad idea.
