S7 wasn’t about lore and backstory?

Apparently all the stuff with the pillers, the origin of the elements of harmony and Starswirl isn’t lore

There was alot of lore in 7.
 
And having a designation for 9 is a bit premature.

Oh no, a new character? Must be a self-insert! But I’ll cry because DHX won’t put my rainbow-colored alicorn goddess who is friends with the Mane 6 in the show! They look better than anything the show has!

OC literally means original character and outside of slice of life I get only think of one other fan service moment in season 5
