I’ve said it before, but I really have to wonder at this guy’s mentality. He’s just finished badly losing a battle against the army, he’s getting marched off in chains at spearpoint to a court case that is not going to end with him and his buddies anywhere but in prison, and he’s likely as not going to spend the rest of life behind bars. He’s likely seen multiple members of his bandit group get killed in the process and he’s never going to be free again. Despite all this, he’s still acting like he’s got things figured out better than everybody else – including, I should note, the people who have been directly responsible for defeating him and his band.
 
I hope we’ll see more of Vulpa through flashbacks or something similar, though. I liked her.
 
On that note, though, this must be very hard on Twilight. I don’t think she’s ever lost a friend to death before, and this is a really terrible way to experience something like that for the first time.
