I’m just saying all of the plants look alive. I do like how the green leaves and the various flowers add a splash of color to the overcast days during the summer.
 
And yea, summer is pretty miserable without A/C.

My two cents: I really dislike the long days of summer and I can’t feel good about anything as I’m too miserable from the heat. So I can’t relate with the ‘everything feels alive’ point. I also don’t have AC, which may be a factor. To each their own.
 
PS: my windows surface overheats in the summer when doing anything taxing on it so that also annoys me. Winter acts as a natural heatsink.

And I sunburn rather easily as well, yet summer is still my favorite season, primarily due to the length of the days and how alive everything is. And this is also despite the summers down here typically having days so humid you have to swim through the air!

Whenever people ask me what my favourite season is, I always say “winter”, and then they look at me like I just grew a second friggin’ head or something, and THIS is the exact reason I give.  
Mind, most of them still look at me like I’m some kinda space-alien or something, but eh… :P
 
Also yes, a lot of people like it when it’s hot because it’s also bright and colourful and can I please just throw in here - I hate long sunny days almost as much as I hate the heat that comes with them. Nothing throws my biological clock out of whack more than having the sun still up in the sky at nearly 10pm. (I live in London, sunset in midsummer is about 9:20pm, and it’s not really dark until about 11:30pm). Sure it happens every year - still throws me out anyway, to see the sky that bright that late in the evening. xD
 
Grey (days) and black (nights) are two of my favourite colours (along with red and orange, which are great in autumn xD)
 
Just for good measure, I’m very prone to sunburn and heatstroke (not helped by my shiny bald head), and oh yeah I live with an autoimmune disease and chronic fatigue, so summer weather leaves me feeling pretty damn wrecked just from waking up in the morning.
 
So I’m with Twiley here…and please winter, come back! ^^

(she turns around. lasty quickly erases ‘hot’ and the sun’s face, replacing them with ‘nice’ and a smile. …and shades. yeah. that is one cool sun.)

And that’s how I saved summer.
