Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle always are the first ponies to be introduced  
My Little Pony FIM should’ve been The Mane 3 is magic: Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup save Equestria  
Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy are slightly less important, for obvious reasons: Twilight is a purple magic princess, Pinkie Pie is extra girly and pink, Rainbow Dash has a great design and is multicolored. Hasbro loves them
