They planned on making a movie to show g4 going through a rebirth, and start g5

The question is, why would they reboot? The fans love the show, their loving the characters, why start from scratch?

Yup G5 is supposed to be a complete reboot, start from scratch, whole new story…  
In fact they might just completely rehash the entire concept of what makes a pony!  
How about… 5 legs, three wings and two horns!  
Actually since a good portion of the fandom has read through the work in progress design documents that our friends in totally not soviet Russia hacked and leaked for us…  
It wouldn’t surprise me if everything we read about G5 could get tossed out the window and they start over again.

I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure it is a continuation to Friendship Is Magic it’s not really G5

I’m afraid it’s not gonna happen, g5 is slated to be a completely new series, I’m sorry.
