I will say that one actual problem with spike getting wings is that’s all they actually did to make you look older nothing else about his design changed according to faust he wea designed to look like a toddler even saying that he had a diaper butt

I have heard of some of the stuff she wanted to do but wasn’t allowed to and there’s some stuff we were better off not getting. people do tend to put Faust on a pedestal(I think 4chan will like Equestria Girls confirmed for non-canon after she said she does not consider it canon despite leaving during season 2 when I think at best eqg would have been in early concept stage) but of course she’s human so she makes mistakes

Yeah, by that logic Epcot shouldn’t be enjoyed, because it didn’t match Walt’s original vision.  
And yeah, we don’t know all of Faust’s original plans. A shame we’ll never see how they would’ve played out, but nothing we can do about that.

honestly saying one detail goes against her Vision even if that vision still happens just comes across as Petty.  
also I do feel like it’s worth mentioning that this show that she wanted and the Show we got were never the same thing. some purists don’t actually seem to know the original idea. another example there are some Disney park purists that don’t know that epcot was supposed to be a city

Well, Faust said in regards to that, “I didn’t say Princess,” but she doesn’t wanna give too much away, or discuss it, as she doesn’t wanna undermine the current staff. (That said, if Faust respects/trusts them, fans should too.)
 
Twi’s been a teacher too, so it’s nice they went that direction, as well.

I remember people were saying it went against faust’s vision.of course of vision for Twilight was for her to be celestia successor and Twilight being a princess does not go against the two ways you could interpret that.  
Celestia being a princess didn’t stop her from being a teacher so why would it stopped Twilight? and if she meant ruler of Equestria being a princess makes it more likely to happen

when I said princess Twilight episodes I meant episodes about twilight’s Princesshood and even some of the episodes where Twilight being a princess is mentioned it wasn’t exactly super important to the episode and could have happened anyway

That’s actually a common problem with that shows changes most of the the show barely changes.  
I remember it felt like some ponies were ignoring the fact that Twilight was a princess in season 4

Yeah, ironically, some still try to claim they’re “ruining/stealing the show,” but that’s nothing new…  
They said the same thing about Flurry Heart… The baby that hardly ever appears…
 
Heck, in the Season 1 days, some fans hated the CMC for “stealing/ruining the show.”

The thing about starlight and the students is that they get less episodes of The seasons go by.  
In season 8 the students only had 6 at best and only two of them what actually solely about them. Of course people will still say the new main characters now (that’s another boy who cried wolf thing)

I didn’t see much drama over Spike getting wings honestly, in fact most seemed to want him to get wings unlike Twilight.

The one on the left (G1 Spike) is actually has a more light shade of pink… At least, in the cartoon.

Spike: people may complain about me getting wings, but at least I don’t look a magic marker huffed paint

Fact is Spike actually got his wings for the first time not even past generations of mlp spike didn’t have them when it in g1 or g3

Because the coloring of the 1984 Spike was really dark, and finding a clear picture was surprisingly difficult. Also his wings are not green so not really evil version.

How come 1984 Spike looks like the evil version of his modern self?
