I actually think it was smart getting Twilight possessed first. Cosmos practically needed Twilight’s knowledge about the star or else her plan would’ve went a lot longer. Cosmos got lucky with Twilight and possessed her right then and there. The other princesses on the other hand.

THat’s why the comics exist so this stuff can be allowed to happen where the show wouldn’t allow for it.
