Well, this has been his arc, so it would make sense if it were him doing everything, maybe with some light help from the others. As for how things will go down I’m expecting feeling, then a chaos fight, then feelings again after Cosmos is out-chaos’d in some way.

I also kinda hoped that once Cosmos formed the possessed would be free so that they could actually do something and help but…alas, no.
 
Sadly I think we’re gonna be down to Discord basically doing everything next issue. It’d be nice if other characters got to be involved (considering this is happening in the crystal empire you’d think Sunburst, Shining and Flurry would get involved) but I fear the comics are just gonna make it Discord gets a pep talk from the Mane 6(-1) and basically wins the day himself through trickery.

I was hoping this would not be the case regarding Cosmos wanting to ensure she was unstoppable. I had two theories to this amalgamation of Cosmos and the six ponies she possessed:

Yeah. My sicko inner horror fan was hoping we’d get to see the possessed ponies all flowing and melting together to become Cosmos, but of course that wasn’t gonna happen. Hopefully some fan artist will step up to the plate.

Well what’d you expect for the body. Something beautiful. Hello. She’s a being of chaos. So of course it’d be disturbing

I’ve honestly been hoping for this exact thing to happen ever since Luna got possessed; an actual physical merge of all the possessed characters to create Cosmos’ body. The result isn’t pretty, but the whole situation is still great fodder for weird ideas.

I’d like to say if Cady’s been absorbed that Shining will play a role in trying to rescue her…but I’m not stupid enough to think that’s remotely likely sadly. Ah well.

I’m just saying that #76 already felt a bit like just filler and with #78 being the finale already I think maybe it would have been better for their to be just 4 Stars and use #76 to develop Cosmos and the other characters a bit. Maybe make it that because the protagonists get the 4th Star and keep it safe in the Crystal Empire the Cosmos-Princesses need to do some subterfuge and impersonating to get to the Star and we see a bit more of her personality etc.
 
I dunno, just feels a bit like Big Mac and Zecora kinda don’t add anything and ate up some time that could have been used to flesh out the main thrust of the plot. But just me rambling.
