I didn’t say she’s a bad character, actually I like her and I admit I hope her reform, but I wonder why the writers made a child a villian, and without any reason?

Not good? Bruuhhhh, open up your eyes; she’s the most golden-clad villain we’ve had in years. Just plain evil, remorseless, and fun to watch.
Besides, there’s not much that’d be different if she got a redemption arc. At least different from what’s already happened on the show. She’d get a sappy backstory, everyone - at least in the show - forgives her, and people will still whine here that they’re tired of reformations.
Actually, now that I’m thinking about it, this is probably the answer to all the other fans who keep wanting no reformation. Well we got it. An evil child turned to stone. I kinda like it, but I guess people still whine no matter what =/

Sombra alone is reason enough to stone Discord along with these three. Sombra was done. No threat at all.
 
Then Discord brings him back to be slaughtered. Sombra might have been a villian, but doing this was sick on Discoeds part. Just pure f**Ken evil.

Twilight wasn’t conscious when she got petrified by a Cockatrice.
 
Rockhoof: I heard there’s a statue spell that sends creatures into stone sleep. I want you to cast it. On me.
 
It’s very much possible to petrify others in a way that they’re not conscious in this setting. But of course, Discord is Discord, and he’s probably an exception. (We know he’s heard what others are saying, based off of Keep Calm and Flutter On)

Like I stated previously, find out how they cause trouble from within and patch it up. You think that after School Raze they’d prevent Tirek and Cozy Glow from communicating from outsiders or prevent Tirek from using whatever he used to contact Cozy Glow in the first place. It’s just common sense. But we know the new staff are known for throwing that out the window.
 
And again, Tirek and Cozy Glow were only whisked away because of Discord’s powerful magic, something no one saw coming. But I guess they could fortify Tartarus with the pieces of Chrysalis’ throne.

If they wanted to stop them, they should’ve figured out how Tirek could have mail sent and delivered to him and close the loophole. Chrysalis was an insane hobo who nearly got her ass kicked by Mean Twilight. Whatever threat she posed before has been greatly diminished. All three of them could’ve been easily prevented from causing more harm. All Discord did was bring them together, revive Sombra only to indirectly murder him, hook the other three with a super weapon, and give them a fate worse than the ones they were in previously.

I mean, Cozy and Tirek were clearly waiting for opportunities (let’s not forget that Tirek got to Cozy while in Tartarus) and Chrysalis was still out and about causing trouble. They were stalled not stopped.

The only petrifaction spell in the series is the stone sleep spell, which puts the targets to sleep on top of stoning them. That part didn’t work on Discord. Probably because of his chaotic body and mind.

None of them deserved a thousand years in stone. I mean, they’re probably aware the entire time, and the reason it was fitting for Discord was because he’s a being of chaos who could probably easily withstand that kind of thing. His mind is an enigma. But with these three, they’ll probably fucking break before their sentence is up.
 
So uh… “good job”. You basically scarred them forever and there will be no lesson learnt.

I think he actually was a little more buffed than he was in season 4 episode 25. In that episode he was just a little bit smaller than average male ponies are when he made is first appearance.
