Anna’s oblivious and wants to explore the whole entire outside world, whereas, Elsa’s burdened with a power she was born with, knowing she should stay away from the whole entire outside world.
Elsa and Anna are both Rapunzel (Disney’s Tangled), just split apart. One’s oblivious and wants to explore the whole entire outside world is Anna and the other’s burdened with a power she was born with, knowing she should stay away from the whole entire outside world is Elsa.
Disney’s Frozen - A modern canon princess movie (based off on a famous fairy tale, Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen) about two royal sisters, one’s a normal girl is Anna and the other has ice powers since she was born with them is Elsa.
It’s not easy to compare, is it? They both have very different styles. Anna’s plainer, cuter, and definitely warmer, wheres, Elsa’s refined and elegant. I can’t decide!
Anna and Elsa qualify even though they’re sisters especially the former who wish to return as to what it’s like in the childhood before the accident. Ultimately at the end, after Elsa discover how to control her powers, she realize she could become close to Anna without harming her and ultimately managed to become best friends with her in the end.
The 13th year friendless isolation/loneliness/eternal winter accident would’ve been saved in canon if only Grand Pabbie explained himself better, if only King Agnarr and Queen Iduna introduced Anna to Elsa’s ice powers 3 days after the traumatic childhood accident. If only Agnarr and Iduna realized the ‘conceal don’t feel’ thing was useless. If only Elsa was free to open the door for Anna even if she was frightened so they’d realize love’s the answer.
An AU where Anna and Elsa have grown up with not just all ordinary, but also all magical, less traumatic memories instead of having to grow up with all ordinary memories/unprotected, traumatic childhood memories of one accident.
One had to grow up with all ordinary memories is Anna and the other had to grow up with unprotected, traumatic childhood memories of one accident is Elsa.
The same two sisters who could’ve grown up with not just all ordinary, but also all magical, less traumatic memories instead of having to grow up with all ordinary memories/unprotected, traumatic childhood memories of one accident.
The same two sisters who are inspired by Gerda and the Snow Queen (Hans Christian Andersen’s original, classic Danish fairytale). One’s inspired by Gerda (Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen) is Anna and the other’s inspired by the Snow Queen (Hans Christian Andersen’s original, classic Danish fairytale, canon, female, titular character) is Elsa.
Growing up with unprotected, traumatic childhood memories of one accident’s a very heavy weight to carry on until adulthood, however, it (growing up with unprotected, traumatic childhood memories of one accident) made Elsa into the person she is, too, which is harsh, however, it (growing up with unprotected, traumatic childhood memories of one accident’s) is an important part of human development.
