People will still believe it’s G5 because with the end of Friendship Is Magic, it’s apparently the end of G4 overall, with no way to properly end Equestria Girls, and no more plans to revive it for the fans anytime soon.

This movie could possibly be G4, either a stand alone sequel between in the final episode or a prequel to the film,I mean this new cgi movie didn’t come this far with a new mlp content, it was all thanks to Friendship is Magic!

True, but the people at Boulder Media either need to find another place to build another studio for themselves or at least collaborate with animation studios such as Sony Pictures Imageworks, Ilion Animation Studios, Animal Logic, Mikros Image or Reel FX (which they made the direct-to-video GI Joe movies) before starting production before the 2021 release date. It’s not as far as the last film.

Well at some point every company that makes movies has been in that stateand for hasbro it’s much more logical for them maybe even cheaper to use a company that own instead hiring another one

movie production tends to be very harsh harsh.  
I’m pretty sure we have well over a year before it comes out. also Cyberverse is a TV show CGI on a TV budget is not easy I think sponge on the run would be more how it looks

Will Boulder announce another feature film studio already? Previously their efforts failed because the Dun Laoghaire council fucked them over and the movie is set for a 2021 release and they haven’t yet shown their development on the film. Either they will rush it or will they delay it?
 
I want the CG to look like something close to G4 and to not end up like Cyberverse CGI but rather yet like a CG animated flick like, for example: Tangled or Toy Story or Dragons or Spider-Verse or The Book of Life.

I believe paramount is only distributing the film and the actual production is being done by hasbro and Boulder

Yeah, but like I said it before (and I’ll say it again), It’s a niche franchise. It doesn’t matter if it’s a hard reboot or not, it’s still niche and I am afraid that it won’t attract non-MLP fans or G4 fans no matter how good Paramount markets the hell out of it OR how good the movie will be (even with Tara Strong out of the franchise). Not to mention the girly stigma is still there since this franchise’s target demographic is and always will be females. Especially little girls.
 
Unless they won’t go political like Captain Marvel and (allegedly) Birds of Prey.

I think he’s refering to how it’s by Paramount, and has been surprisingly a good success, (Amazingy, Sonic beat Detective Pikachu) so he feels Paramount should do MLP like the image suggests.
 
Though, whichever company funds/publishes a movie doesn’t matter, what matters is if the movie turns out right.

Union voice actors often use pseudonyms to work on non union projects. Steve Blum does it all the time for example.

Well, maybe she may return. Unless the G5 series is recorded in New York like the current Transformers cartoons, then the chances are extremely low (since the current Transformers cartoons use an non-union voice cast and Tara is an union VA, and I don’t think she would be able to be in a project with non-union VAs).

Look at the Powerpuff reboot, the lack of the original three reprising their roles played a factor on how bad the show is among other factors.
