I don’t disagree with you necessarily. But in this case, I think it’s kind of fair to an extent? I’m pretty sure the fans who asked for Grogar wanted the actual Grogar. Not Discord roleplaying as him.

This is exactly why pandering to the fans is never a good decision, even when you give them what they asked for, they still complain about it.

It feels like they canceled their plans and hastily changed things. None of it felt like it was the plan from the start. So it wasn’t just a bad twist, but one that comes with a sense that we lost out on something better. It just had all that potential. We’ve been asking for Grogar since the season 2 era. This was not a worse writing decision compare to Twilight’s wings, but it was a bigger slap in the face.

but if folks keep bringing it up I’ll still say I wasn’t a fan.
 
Also the writers didn’t really screw up they just made a decision that folks didn’t like, it’s not like the twist didn’t make sense in the story when you remember…discord is pretty smart and cares but also an idiot when it comes to seeing plans all the way through and a jerk who thinks his way is right. Those traits didn’t come out of thin air

Doesn’t mean it can’t still suck

The fandom before I get into it: “ I really love this show”
 
The fandom after I get into it and everyone complains about everything: “I still really love this show. I just hate the people who like it”.

One year later and it still sucks. All that means is that it really must suck if opinions haven’t changed after people had time to take it in.
 
Also, considering all the pictures you keep making bringing up the drama about the series finale/epilogue, you really don’t get any room to throw stones about people not moving one. Seriously, counting the stuff you made that got deleted, this has to be the dozenth image you’ve made about it. I think you should take your own advice and move on.
