I’m very thankful we got Misty instead of Sprout Cloverleaf. Since Sprout would never be able to be mane character material.

Also, despite what his fans say he is a recurring character in Make Your Mark (He played a role in Chapter 1’s “Growing Paints” and Chapter 4’s “Top Remodel”, as well as the background appearances and playing a big role in the video game (which the canon is debated, but isn’t everything in MLP?) Plus I’m guessing their might be an episode revolving around him in Tell Your Tale. But honestly, I think we’ve already got a, admittedly brief but fairly complete arc for Sprout Cloverleaf. It does annoy me when I see his fans inpatiently complaining about not getting enough Sprout content.

Just because he was the first antagonist of G5 and you’ve developed a fascination with him, that doesn’t mean he needs the full Starlight Glimmer/Sunset Shimmer treatment. Fans should be grateful for the his background pony status, although to me he’s a recurring character but I guess a movie, a video game and 2 episodes as well as a number of background appearances so far isn’t enough for some fans.

and yet, they didn’t realized that not all queens are in reality selfish, like the late queen Elizabeth II, she was actually quite a caring queen, and Celestia was clearly something that a queen would to with well, politics, and not a princess.

sprout in MYM basically became for his fans what Derpy, Lyra and Bonbon were for G4 fans.

a pony that has very few appearances and lines but that little is enough to create content for him, and they are really happy with each appearance no matter how small it is.

Being on a poster like that is overrated anyway
