I dunno, my guess would be that it has something to do with how one would change direction suddenly as they are running, I can’t remember exactly but I think it ends up creating some visual shockwave effect which I’m sure has some subtle gameplay effect only professional Smash players utilize.

i never saw the differences between melee and brawl (except that melee didn’t have that stupid “random falls when you start running), for example, WTF is the “wavedashing”?

Sad part is I fooled myself into thinking it was just as good as Melee if only for the addition of a proper story mode that had full on platformer levels….but then I game the story a second playthrough and noticed just how much Sakurai loves his own character (Kirby). I opinions of Brawl went downhill from there…

The blatant sucking of Kirby’s dick throughout the game, mostly in that story mode and the fact that the Kirby characters are so blatantly top tier even the broken Sonic is crap compared to them…..and then there’s the broken Smash Ball and the forced Prat-Falling/Tripping.
 
I expect the next one to be more of the same BS (unless Sakurai decides to actually let Namco/Bandai do their job and make Smash Bros. the proper fighting game it was in Melee and give us a story that doesn’t glorify Kirby over even Mario).

Well, not so much draw in third party developers as more buy them out…..then shut them down to keep production costs low, hell I bet if they did take over the Wii U with their origin they’d try to muscle Nintendo out of their own company and then shut most of it down to keep the profits to themselves.

EA wins simply because they can draw third party developers.

Hell no I have one! Enjoying the hell out of Injustice, Mario Bros. Wii U and Sonic & SEGA All Stars Kart Racing Transformed and Rolling Out. Looking forward to that HD port of Windwaker and Bayonetta 2, and for the record I wanna say fuck Smash Bros.! The last one sucked and Sakurai is still director of the next one, sure as hell ain’t gonna put the fate of the Wii U on this one game like all these other tools out there~~_~~.
 
Also this is way off topic but I commented on Youtube that Call of Duty is just as casual as Madden, then this idiot who wanted to bash Nintendo replies that Obviously I was talking about Manhunt or Mad World “the world’s most casual games”. This guy sucks at trolling so bad I can’t even laugh at his failure.

Okay, you see it that way, but just so you know theis developer is from EA, who pulled a game that was ready to go for the WiiU just because Nintendo woun’t let them put Origin on there online service, I say this is odd that they say this after all that, also “Making a console with outdated hardware is kind of missing the point” well to me to want a game to want a game for any reason then to enjoy it and have fun, no matter the hardware, is missing the point to, so the way I see it to call any system that isn’t greatly flawed “crap” is just showing you can’t enjoy an game or the system it’s on by it’s on merits.

The show was kinda alright. Not bad but not great either.  
The movie, however, holds a special place in my heart, because my elementary science teacher put it up for us to watch when we were learning about the human body, t’was good times.

From the perspective of a developer it’s crap because it allows them less. That’s why I agree with the developer who called it crap. This is the same reason for which I laughed when I heard about OUYA’s Tegra 3 processor. Why would Indie developers make games for it if they can do the same for any PC released in the last 10 years or a phone/tablet?
 
The way I see it, most people buy consoles because they don’t want to spend a shitload on a powerful PC. Making a console with outdated hardware is kind of missing the point.
