Indeed. Even if something like the misogyny or homophobia exist, then for 1) it’s not exclusive since every group has its own misogynist, homophobe, etc. and 2)You’d have to wonder where it occurred along with anything that can corroborate with it. I feel that if these happened at conventions, it wouldn’t be surprising since it is a gathering of fans from normal fans who just like a show to sperging fan-boys who can perpetuate a negative stereotype. Was it online? If so, there are trolls out there that can pose as bronies. Really, this is the internet where you can find anything that might make you go insane.

The problem only gets worse when their stupidity made them get caught in a net they cannot escape.
 
It is well known that our ego (that is, our most deepest US) is quite fragile and it will do anything it can to prevent getting hurt. Its pride in itself.
 
Therefore, when you are caught lying it is REALLY hard to admit that you indeed lied. Such negation can make you go an extra length by lying even more to cover your past lies, accuse the opposition of making things up or downright ignoring them, or crying wolf to get other people’s sympathy.

I also kinda wish people would stop comparing P.P. to that hospitalized Michael Malones kid. They’re saying things like, “Bronies only support Michael ‘cause he’s a boy/brony, and only hate P.P. ‘cause she’s a girl MLP fan.” Which is very ignorant, ‘cause alot of the most respected fans, fanartists, and such are female.
 
Well, maybe if P.P. didn’t keep saying ridiculous things, (like that post claiming to have nightmares about bronies) insulting the brony fandom, (even though she pretty much is a female brony) attention-mongering, making all the DWM-drama, having typical SJW double-standards, and such, then maybe people would be more inclined to believe her, have sympathy for her, and such… But honestly, she’s not really been that trustworthy, I’m sorry to say.

One thing I wonder about TRS is how much of it is SJW. I’m a brony who can acknowledge that there are problems within the fanbase (seriously, what fanbase isn’t free of problems? There is always going to be something bad.) but that doesn’t mean I can’t help but wonder how bad it is (could it really be bad or is it exaggerated?)  
I remember reading one of TRS articles that spoke of the problems with bronies and they mentioned PinkiePony which didn’t set right with me, especially when they mention her suicide which I pretty much casted doubt upon, especially after seeing a tumblr that debunked her suicide claims. (Said tumblr belongs to a Brazillian med student I believe.)

This, and TRS’s complete acceptance of that vile statement, is what set me from “DWM kind of has a point but is going the wrong way about it” to “fuck these intolerant, puerile, jealous assholes”.
 
It burns me how people that are in essence vile and putrid to their very core have the gall to hide behind something as lofty as social justice in order to put down people they don’t like.
 
Social Justice Warriors are the worst thing to happen to actual social justice.

Doesn’t surprise me, there’s actually hate-blogs dedicated to making this site (Derpibooru) look bad.  
While Derpibooru has it’s faults, and a few trolls, from the sounds of things, we’re not as bad as TRS, (who seem a tad smug, and full of elitists, and pony fans who think they’re better then every other brony/pony site) I’m sorry to say.  
(Especially, if they’re censoring comments, just because they don’t agree with the mods, or majority of posters.)

Plenty of us blinked eyes. The problem is that nobody wants to be next on the chopping block to get called out for questioning whether the DWM movement is misguided or otherwise questionable.
 
It’s ironic. Many on the Pro-DWM will bring up silencing tactics, yet that thread has been an exercise in intimidation from Day 1.

I also had a look through the place. Apparently we’re the absolute worst part of the fandom and shouldn’t be touched with a ten foot pole. Charming people, really. I guess they and DWM in general are still wondering why all the people they keep insulting and vilifying aren’t running to join their cause.

Well this might get some pressure off of us. Dr. Phil has sparked a call to arms after a tweet asking if it is okay to have sex with a drunk girl. It was supposed to be for an upcoming show, but of course it was taken out of context.
