Nah, that happens in episode 7. In the last episode of season 5 the writers finally get what they need to do to make the average fans like him: have Lauren Faust herself vouch for Flash.
Only the most hardcore yurishippers and fanonizers would keep grumbling when Mama Lauren gives her own imprimatur.
That, or use him as a way to start a new season based on the IDW comics. Heck, I’d accept BLUEBLOOD if he did that…

As much as I hat to say it, I too think that the show has been degrading.
Not much, but still a little.
I think the show is losing its focus. Season 1 and the first half Season 2 was based on one thing: Teaching the main characters all about friendship.
And that’s the thing I loved the most about the show: Its purpose.
But then, the whole outlook changed. It began being less about the morals and more about fun little adventures for the characters to romp through. The morals are still there, but they have receded into the background more.
And whilst that is not bad per se, it is just not as good as the original perspective.
It’s like going to your favourite restaurant and ordering a 8 oz filetsteak with seasoned roast potatoes and getting a cheeseburger with fries instead.
It’s a really good burger, and it still satisfies you, but you can’t help but feel a little sad, because you never got that steak you wanted… and you know the chef makes some damn amazing steak.

Agreed. The show’s kind of been on a decline for a while now, but it was the most blatant with Sombra being a terrible villain, Shining Armor and Cadence being worked in out of nowhere, Twilight Sparkle’s “alicornication” being shoddily written and rushed, Discord becoming apparently good, Equestria Girls being incredibly generic…I could go on but there’s not enough room for such a long list. The “it’s for little kids” excuse doesn’t exactly work here, as even they have a sense of quality.

I do have an account, but my name just so happens to be completely retarded that I don’t use it (also it has a similar name to an OC I don’t like before that OC existed… I rather not associate that with it. That is my luck with the internet though). Personally, I like being anon because the fandom just kinda annoys me as a whole. I just come here every once in awhile. The show is fine, but the fandom… mmm…
I often hope that the fandom improves though, but I guess that’s wishful thinking? I dunno…
@Background Pony
I also don’t understand why they don’t have an account, or if they’re hiding for some reason. It’s easy to get an account. You don’t even need an email, you can just use mailinator.
@Background Pony
I find it weird that all the anons are agreeing with just the anon and not anyone else. I wish they would fix that with BP1 or BP2. Otherwise that’s what it looks like. Just an observation.
