You see Nicole Oliver is up on stage and her fly is open. You’re pretty close to the stage and it’s pretty likely that few other people in the audience can even see that it is. Do you:
a) Shout out loud, “Hey, Nicole, I see London, I see France! I see Nicole Oliver’s underpants! Hey, your zipper’s open!” so that everyone can see how morally upstanding and helpful you are;
b) keep your mouth shut and hope few people notice; or
c) try to send her a private message so she can zip it up without being embarrassed in front of the whole audience?
I was in two of the comments she said to move on about. The thing is both the posts of mine she replied to were already typed out and posted quite a few minutes before she said to do so- check the timestamps. I’m guess either twitter was being slow or one of those was intended for someone else. Also I just pointed the thing out to her, because Hasbro suits might not be to happy with her tweeting that if they saw that URL at the bottom. I am not nor wasn’t apart of that whole “DWM” thing.
Why is this such a big deal? She linked a pic she thought was innocent then was told it is not as innocent as it seems so she took it down. Is this really such a big deal?

No one is an idiot or a prude for simply speaking up about something they think is right or wrong. Don’t think your views are somehow invalid just because more voices are going against you than with you.
And “the fandom” literally has one thing and one thing alone in common: a love of Pony.

The only people who ruined anything were the ones who tweeted to/about her, or contacted her in other ways.
This would have been a complete non-event if the DWMtards had kept their shit on The Round Stable. Instead they had to go and “do the right thing” by harassing her on twitter, which of course opened the flood gates of drama.

In the comment you replied to I was more nitpicking the idea that the picture specifically was suggestive, because that’s what maya was saying. Of course if you go researching the image you’re gonna find molestia.
That being said, it’s not something that would have to matter if there wasn’t a bunch if screeching pissants that for some reason otherwise reasonable people empower in this world. Lord knows we can’t have an adult posting a picture of ponies with mashed potatoes on their faces on her private twitter because the artist does a suggestive blog and it’ll give children cancer if they ever come in contact with something that once brushed up against something that had sexual connotations.

The fact remains that Nicole herself did not know, which pretty much completely invalidates your little “OOOH, IT’S SO OOOOBVIOUS THAT IT’S DIIIIIRRRTY” little tirade you’re having.
@rogerSnow
Molestia is, in all likelihood, the most popular non-canon character in the fandom, so yeah, I’d say some people would’ve caught the innuendo. And while a pic of a pink-maned “Celestia” and Twilight with their faces covered with mashed potatoes may not immediately bring adult topics to mind, it is a rather odd image on its own, which may cause some people to check the URL that’s on the image…
