Its safe to say that planned movie is in development hell.

To be fair, Trey and Matt did plan on making a film, called Giant Monsters Attack Japan! It would be a parody of Japanese kaiju movies, and it would have a PG rating. Not sure if it will actually be made, considering it’s been nearly ten years since it was announced, but it’s still a bit of interesting trivia.

Yeah, it would probably be best if you didn’t. I think he prefers the freedom South Park affords him, not sure he’d be happy with anything less.
 
I mean, I dunno, maybe he can write for younger audiences, but I don’t know of any of his works that could prove this.
 
Plus he might not even want to. Though if he could somehow translate his style of humor into something that FiM’s target audience could handle, I wouldn’t mind seeing it.
