That’s be fucking stupid. Royalties attending public events need to be dressed as royalties. It’s a requirement. Does Shining Armor only have this one outfit - his red one? Even if he does, that outfit would have been more suitable for this occasion.

Why are royalties allowed to compete again? And how many Captain of the Guard uniforms are there? I don’t know who became a captain after Shining.
And knowing that he’s a prince, his armor looks like a Halloween costume when he’s wearing it. How can you take him seriously? Like, imagine the Queen of England being dressed as one of the palace guards while attending an event.

Are we still going on about Soarin’ being old? The animators seem to put in and out the bags constantly. They were missing in several shots in the episode alone. It’s like they can’t make up his mind. His actions/voice seem to say he’s young though.
His EqD version seems to be about the same age as Dash and Spitfire. I really do think he’s just tired.
Bulk Biceps is huge though. He towers over everybody.

I’m 22, in college, and have bags from a lack of sleep. Comes with the territory, but there are plenty of other students my age or a few years difference that have the same thing.

he aint that old for Celestias sake. and if you must know its cuz he is one of the very few who can handle the one and only Rainbow Dash! what with the being an extreme athletic pony with the same love for flying and what not…….oh and a flank that could cut granite :P

If there are 5000 background ponies in this show, and were I to give the real number of BPs it’d probably fall close to that number (kidding-ish, lol), then chances are a hoofful of them will show up in the gay montage.
