well i look at this way, other then fluttershy which is very shy almost all of the mane 6 has shown some interest in the opposite gender at one point or another or has acknowledged that gender at least but aj has not, a guy shows a lot of interest in her and she just hides from him…it just…fits.

It’s pretty obvious what she was going to say. She just won’t be able to finish that sentence on a kid’s show.

Trend was probably feeling less awkward about that and more about him and Rarity showing up in the same outfit.
